General
Information
The Bachelor of Health Sciences is an innovative, interdisciplinary,
and flexible program that provides a well-rounded education to persons
holding associate degrees in health related fields such as radiology
technicians, ophthalmic technicians, dental assistants, and others.
It also provides them the opportunity of completing their studies
towards a bachelor’s degree. The curriculum aims to develop
sensitive health professionals capable of delivering quality health
care. Students may select concentrations in Education or Administration.
Admission Requirements
In order to be considered for admission, applicants must comply
with the following requirements:
· Hold an Associate Degree with at least 36 semester credits
in a health sciences field.
· A grade point average of at least 2.00 in health related
courses.
· Satisfactorily complete courses in the areas specified
below at an accredited college or university (for specific courses,
please contact the program).

Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate, the following requirements must be met:
· Complete 62 semester credits (Education option) or 60 semester
credits (Administration option), in addition to the 36 credits in
professional courses taken as part of an associate degree or undergraduate
certificate in the health sciences or health related fields, 30 credits in general educational
and 14 credits in liberal courses.
· Obtain a minimum overall grade point average of 2.00 and
complete area option courses with a minimum grade of C.
